We have a lighter weight winter type cover which we used as frost protection in the spring. The material is heavier than remay and has more loft.
We found these relatively quick to deploy when we got a frost warning late in the day. We spread the cover over the crop and just tucked the edges under the occasional pot at the edge of the row we were covering.... the crop held the cover down over night.
All pieces are $.50 a linear foot.

15' x 50'
15' x 62'

We have a shade frame for sale. Here's an image of a similar frame that we referred to as 'Beaujolais' in the nursery. We grew the Astilbe's and Hostas and Ligularias there. The one that remains for sale is identical in materials and construction. The frame can be purchased with shade fabric.

It is priced at approximately 33% off the current replacement cost.
The frame has been dissassembled and is ready to load. The frame and shade fabric was installed in 2006 and is in excellent condition.
The dimensions accomodate plants in approx. 8' wide rows with 3' aisles and are often somewhat wider.

#1 (North side).: $6,000.00 for the frame. Frame with shade: $6,720.00
Consists of 9 rows of 5 bays each, measuring 12' x 12' x 10' high, or, 108' x 60'. and
4 rows of 4 bays each, measuring 12' x 12' x 10' high or 48' x 48'.
Shade is available:
Four pieces that each covers 2 rows of 5 bays each. $120.00 ea. or $480.00
One piece covers 1 row of 5 bays each. $60.00
Two pieces that each cover 2 rows of 4 bays each. $ 90.00 ea. or $180.00.

We are very interested in selling this frame. We will considerable a reasonable offer. It is in excellent condition and the shade fabric has been stored out of the weather and sun in our barn.

We have 39 each Nursery Carts, delivery carts, shipping carts, transportation carts, however you choose to call them. Our heavy duty nursery carts were manufactured by Wellmaster, and fit perfectly in a standard box truck. We used a cabover Isuzu with a 20' box which let us load 16 nursery carts at a time, 4 across and 4 deep, front to back. I'd suggest that you acquire a box in 5' increments for the most efficient use of space. A lift gate makes the loading and unloading convenient and very flexible. We have 40 each and they come with 2 moveable shelves, affording 3 shelves per cart with the base. These are galvanized and have pneumatic tires, measure 22" x 59", and are in excellent condition. - $265.00 each.

Here's a shelf detail (red paint is a signal to us in loading the truck):

I have a Dosmatic A30 injector for sale, in good repair and recently serviced - $100.00 .

Here's a link to the Dosmatic page for these units.

We've used patio blocks to hold down our winter covers. We have perhaps 2,000 +/-. $.50 each - 10/6/09 - perhaps 350 remain the others are SOLD

We have a simple system for protecting tender crops from spring frost:

We construct this frame ( approx. 60" x 96"), which gets the cover off the plants, and then...

we cover it with a light version of our winter covers. This system is also good for overwintering plants with persistant tops in the greenhouse during winter. We did so with Epimedium, Iberis, and Perovskia to name a few. The frame and covers temper rapid temperature shifts.

We'll sell these units for $10.00 each ( they connect to cover a row approx. 96" wide)

We sell spring covers for the same price as winter covers $.50 per lineal foot. Cover is approx. 12' wide.

Here's an image of the frames and covers deployed for a chill night:

I have a somewhat custom sprayer for sale. The tank and pump came from Oesco. It hold 25 gallons, I think. I fill it to 20 gallons and that is plenty for me to lug around the nursery. It shipped with a wheeled apparatus that failed within a couple months. I then mounted it on the garden cart with pneumatic tires. I handles much more easily and is fairly well balanced and moves through the nursery well. I have $775.00 in parts with sprayer, cart and battery, plus some labor to construct and paint the cart to seal it. This was an enormous improvement over the SOLO backpack sprayer I had been using. It is in excellent condition. $350.00

I also have these poly tanks:

65 gallons - $50.00

200 gallons - $150.00

We have these concrete blocks with odd numbers painted, front and back. We found these essential for identifying locations in the nursery. Highly visible on the white background. We'd like to sell the lot numbering to 140+/- $3.00 each

We have a Honda WT 30X Trash Pump for sale. It's in excellent condition, is 8hp, and has been cleaned and stored with all ports taped shut. It has approximately 40 - 50 hours on it, if that. We used it to transfer water between ponds during a couple droughts. $995.00 . Here's a link to Honda's current version, which has essentially similar specs.:
